BlackTech
Is black and stays black. KMC BlackTech is not a simple coating, but a surface treatment in which the colour becomes part of the material. The process is two-step - firstly, each individual chain component is treated and then the process is repeated with the assembled elements. The chain thus permanently retains its rich black colour and is also highly resistant to rust.

X-Series EL

The Non-Directional design makes it independent of direction which allows maximum compatibility on MTB or Race bikes. As a result, chain life has been significantly prolonged. The upper bridge forms a slant vault parallel to the tip of the tooth movement. This vault shape makes the tooth and chain engage much more precisely.
